I find joy in my family, friends, and moments of happiness or encouragement. I have two children, a husband with a startup company, I’m employed in the EdTech industry, I enjoy reading books, listening to podcasts, and finding time for workouts and runs.

My formal education and professional profile are based around Early Childhood – 12^th grade education. Seeing children learn is priceless. Being able to work with schools all over our nation is an incredible opportunity that I do not take for granted. It is amazing to see how technology can enhance and change the course of a person’s life.

I value quality time with family and friends. I’ve been called an ‘old soul’ and take pleasure in this. For me, it means I have a greater appreciation for the small things in life and understand the importance of quality time spent well with others.

As a hobby, I’ve taken up, listening to past generations’ stories. I want to share these soon-to-be-forgotten stories to inspire others. Life lessons can be learned from those that lived before us. This allows us to understand which moments in the past are worth repeating, and which moments are worth remembering so history doesn’t repeat itself.

I love calling Austin, Texas home! It is a city full of energy and artists. I aspire to be a writer – specifically historical fiction. I love hearing stories of the generations that came before me so of course I’d love to one day be able to write. Daily, I aim to be positive in my thoughts, feelings and actions. Ultimately, I hope to be a ray of light and lift others up as well!
